The Challenge

The client had grown considerably through Covid and ecommerce volumes were substantial

Current setup and measurement was not fit for purpose given current volumes and there was a lack of confidence in any data associated with Analytics 

  1. The Custom Analytics team conducted a thorough audit of the client’s website, CMS, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and media platforms.
  2. Based on our findings, a detailed action plan which split all recommendations into three priority levels was developed to improve tracking and implementation
  3. The client had capabilities to implement some recommendations to reduce costs, but Custom Analytics provided necessary support

Post implementation of the recommended changes, the client was able to regain confidence in their Analytics data which now matched other internal sources.

This allowed increases in their paid media presence, which led to an increase in sales and a better understanding of ROI. The improved tracking also provided the client with valuable insights that helped them make informed decisions for future campaigns.
